Moab Adventures

On our first night in Moab, we decided to take an evening tour of La Sal Mountain.    Drove the loop road and saw beautiful vistas of Castle Valley and gorgeous Aspen groves.  Then the hail hit!   We probably broke some records getting off of that mountain!

Yesterday we started our day at Bill's Canyon, a 4.4 mile hike round trip along a creek.   Beautiful introduction to Utah canyons.  At the end of the trail we are rewarded with a Morning Glory Natural Bridge.   Lots of wild flowers along the way, including blooming cacti!

In the afternoon, we headed up to Arches National Park.  Hiked into Landscape Arch.  This is the arch famous for the 60 foot slab that broke off of it in 1991.   Saw the rest of the arches from overlooks along the road.

Today, we rented a side-by-side ATV and took an off-road tour of Hurrah Pass, outside of Moab.  Rewarded with great views of the Colorado River, more wild flowers, fun times on the trails, and blustery wind on the return ride!
