In Wallace, Idaho, we stopped for a silver mine tour. Very interesting. The labor wars were ferocious in the late 1800's. Ernie wants a big shovel like this man has.
In Spokane, Washington we stopped for a stroll down memory lane. Went to Bowl and Pitcher, a favorite place of Luanne's grandparents. Also drove through downtown and took pictures of Spokane Falls
.
Given our multiple stops, and the extreme cross-winds in the plateau south of Spokane, we ended our day short of our intended Kennewick, staying instead at a Best Western in Ritzville. Hopefully it won't be hard to make up the lost miles today, as the winds are predicted at no higher than 15 miles per hour, and there appear to be no thunder storms in the forecast (we hope)!
Next stop, Home!

You are such a trooper, Luanne. Ready for anything."God richly supplies us with all things to enjoy."I Tim. 6:17
