Getting ready for our next adventure, and so excited!    Since our last long-distance trip, we have upgraded our weather gear, and a friend has loaned us a trailer that's definitely an upgrade.  I (Luanne) am prepared for any weather disaster.  So concerned about being wet and cold, I have the warmest of long-johns, a heater jacket, a 2 layer coat (and 3 layer pants), and a pvc rainsuit.   I tried them all on together, and boy was it warm.  Only problem was, I don't think I would be able to get on the bike while wearing everything.   But I KNOW I can get everything on if needed, and I am ready!!!!   And when we get to Death Valley.....  well, that's what the trailer is for.
