Yesterday, May 28, we left Leggett around 8am and took a winding road to Fort Bragg where we ate breakfast. We continued on down Hwy 1 along the California coast for the remainder of the day, averaging about 30 miles per hour due to the many curves in the road. An awesome motorcycle ride, but we were on the road until 5:30 when we arrived at Ocean Beach Bed and Breakfast in San Francisco. We would recommend taking two days for this section (only 232 miles) to allow more time off of the bike exploring the beaches and parks along the way. My sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bill were waiting for us there, and we enjoyed catching up and then a great dinner at Park Chow restaurant.
