On May 31, We left our B&B in Teasdale, Utah (west of Capitol Reef) and headed toward Bryce Canyon. The road to Bryce is a scenic byway, Highway 12. Part of this highway includes a section called Hells Backbone, because there is a 1000 foot drop on both sides of a two-lane narrow highway with canyon vistas. Bryce Canyon was overwhelming for its beauty. We took 360 pictures, hiking to the bottom of the canyon on two different occasions. Also experienced a gorgeous sunset on the night of the full moon.
