Friday, June 1, we said good-bye to Bill and Donna and left Yosemite. Many changes in climate as we left the mountains where it was 60 degrees, drove through the 90+ degree valley, then dropped back to the coast where it was windy and low 60's again. From our lodging in Monterey, we drove north 17 miles to Moss Landing. There we took a sunset kayaking tour. We paddled among otters, harbor seals, and of course, witnessed the humorous sea lions lounging on the docks. The birds perched magnificently in the trees. What a privilege to witness this variety of creation!
