The Grand Canyon

Today, June 5, we enjoyed a great day in the Grand Canyon.    Our host at Grand Canyon Bed and Breakfast recommended that we take in Shoshone Point, a viewpoint less visited than many.  It's located between the South Entrance and the East Entrance.  This was a wonderful place to view the canyon, although our photography is marginal from there.   We hiked 1 mile to the point, and enjoyed magnificent views all to ourselves!   Afterward we took in several other viewpoints, then returned to Williams for a gunfight in the street, followed by dinner at the local Italian restaurant.
